The Temperance Hall church of Christ was established in 1904, becoming one of nine churches of Chirst in DeKalb County. The original building burned in 1978, and a new building was built across from the Temperance Hall Community Center.
Members from the Alexandria congregation held services there for several years. The building remains, but it's members are with us and with other nearby congregations. We have kept this page on our website to remind us of the rich history of that church that became a training ground for our youth to become worship leaders themselves.
