Our History

The Alexandria church of Christ was founded in Alexandria in the 1820's as an outgrowth of the Restoration movement, in which people returned to the Bible as the basis of their faith and worship.

Over the years, we have learned that what people sometimes need the most is someone who will listen to their concerns - someone they can turn to for support when the going gets tough. And that's one thing  that members of the Alexandria church of Christ are good about.

We are concerned with saving souls, and try to live up to the teachings of Christ and the apostles through our study and application of the Bible.
